MLLI Grad Students to present at national conferences

Congratulations to our graduate students Sarah
Holmquist and Marjorie Bennington who will be presenting at the annual SIETAR
conference (Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research), this
year being held in Portland, Oregon, October 22-25, 2014..   Sarah will offer an interactive poster
presentation, "A Critique of the Field of Intercultural Training according
to Bourdieu," and Marjorie will present a paper, "Intercultural User
Experience and Web Design: Beyond Translation."   For more information on the conference,

Congratulations to our graduate students Eva Piera
Escrivá and Maria Mueller who will be presenting at the NASAGA conference (North
American Simulation and Gaming Association), this year being held in Baltimore,
Maryland, October 8-12, 2014.  Eva will be
presenting, "Layering Out Identity” and Maria will be presenting with Dr.
Adriana Medina, "
Planet Game: A Simulation
on Encounters with Cultural Diversity and Stereotyping." Both
presentations are interactive.   For
