• JPNS 202
• JPNS 301
Electives (6 credits, 2 courses):
• Students must complete two of the following courses: JPNS 302, JPNS 309, MLL 316, MLL 317, MLL 327, MLL 333
NOTE: : At least three courses must be taken at UMBC in order to complete the certificate.
All courses in fulfillment of the Certificate in Language Studies must be completed with a grade of B or higher. The certificate cannot be combined with an MLLI-JPNS major or minor.
