Synopsis: An electrifying film: part thriller, part comedy, and a sharp critique of the French contemporary society. On their way to a party, Paul and Hélène, a conventional French bourgeois couple, watch as Malika, a young prostitute, is brutally attacked in the street and beaten on the hood of their car. The next day, Hélène searches for the young woman and, overcome by remorse, decides to nurse her back to health. But the thugs who attacked Malika come back, and Hélène finds herself in a situation that will change her life forever.
